Recording Artist and Music Director Deron "DB" Bell has shared the stage with many national recording artists including: Boney James, Kirk Whalum, Mint Condition, Shirley Murdock, Walter Beasley, Cameo, Pamela Williams, The Stylistics, Alex Bugnon, Bootsy Collins, Mel Waiters, S.O.S Band, Oletta Adams, Peabo Bryson, Pieces Of A Dream, Marion Meadows, The Manhattans, and Howard Hewitt just to name a few.
Bell has also performed on drums with The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, formerly directed by Isaiah Jackson, and is currently the Music Director of The Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) In the Spirit Of... production. The 2009 production included national recording artists Kirk Whalum and Shirley Murdock, as well as a 100-Voice Community Choir, DCDC and full band. Bell is also a BMI Song Writer Member and Grammy Award active voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS).
